This version of the X5L features both a laser aiming sight and LED light. The light can be set for a constant 178-lumen beam for searching and patrol or set to a 224-lumen disorientating strobe mode for tactical situations. Complimenting the illumination is a 532nm green visible laser. Users have a choice of programming the constant or strobe mode, and constant or pulse laser modes. Choose laser or laser and light based on the situation and preference to optimize the device's performance. For more precise shot-placement, windage and elevation adjustment screws allow it to be zeroed to your weapon. Its lightweight 6061 aluminum alloy housing has a Magpul flat dark earth finish, and weighs a mere 3.3 oz with the CR123 battery installed, so it won't make the weapon front-heavy or cause excessive fatigue while holding it ready.
