This 26-inch ice rod combo is designed with a medium light fast action blank. With a slightly softer tip, yet fast backbone, this rod excels when combined with smaller jigging spoons and swimming lures or horizontal ice jigs that fish heavy. This rod is ideal for perch duty or makes an excellent finesse rod for walleye. This extremely versatile rod excels with presentations that range from hanger and dropper rigs, finesse spoons or horizontal riding ice jigs like Lindy Fat Boys and Genz Worms. Many of the anglers who have field-tested and designed these rods feel that 3 or 4-lb. Test line was optimum line diameter for the best sensitivity. Choose the standard model or the new "Trap Series" which features smaller guides for a lighter weight rod.
