This 949i has surpassed my expectations. The first thing that I noticed was the improved bag, still a little small but the stitching is way better than the past and you also have cinch straps on the outside of the bag. The shelter is easy to set up and take down and is a great addition to my Quickflip 3 for the days when it is too cold or when I do not feel like hauling that huge sled. (Posted on 1/3/14)

First time I used it went up fast. Better hubs than any other I've seen. Eskimo is a great company as I've had their products for years. (Posted on 12/13/13)

Received my Fatfish 949i from Glen’s on 12/4/13. Glen's service is the best! Shipping was super fast and FREE! Glen’s price on this can’t be beat anywhere online or elsewhere! A co-worker ordered the same shelter about 2 weeks before I did. I had been considering the 949i for quite a while, but problems others were reporting online left me skeptical. My friend’s shelter looked great and had the updated hubs for 2013. Unfortunately, my shelter is not as good as his. 3 of the 4 bottom corners of my shelter are "missing" the 3rd layer of fabric...instead there is only a rubber piece that should be sandwiched between 2 pieces of 300D fabric. The rubber is all torn from being sewn without the fabric covering it. All of the poles on the sides of the shelter are bowed when the shelter is set up. One pole on the roof is the worst as it doesn't seem to want to "pop" tight, and the roof sags here. 3 sides of the shelter sit flat on my basement floor, but one side is bowed up, which makes it look like it would be difficult to "seal" the shelter to the ice because there is very little skirt left sitting on the ground. One of the interior pockets is sewn extremely crooked. I have contacted Eskimo (12/5/13) and have heard nothing. I'll update this review with any changes. (Posted on 12/6/13)
