Boots broke in one week

I'm so mad. The strap in the back of the boot broke that you use to pull the boot on. It's one piece of leather running from the heel up the back and folded over onto itself. It's impossible to fix.

Can't beat this work boot!

I have bought this boot every year for 10 years. It is comfortable and has the steel toe that is required for my work. I wear it every work day for a year. When I get a new pair I rotate the old pair to my yard work boots and get another year out of the old boots. I have had other steel toes that wore out early or were more expensive with no additional benefit.
