This Michelin 8" Sledge Boot features a steel toe as well as electrical hazard protection with a orthotic insole, a shock absorbent midsole, along with a Pilot Exalto outsole.

	A contoured metal plate that is positioned outside of the boot to protect the wearer's instep and toe area from heavy falling objects. (Instep - the arched upper surface of the foot between the toes and the ankle.)
	ASTM F2413-05 Electrical hazard standard
	Toe-protecting reinforcement that is made of a lighter weight Steel material while still meeting safety standards.

Features

Insole: A shock absorbing polyurethane footbed with a rigid plastic frame underneath for all day arch support and unique integrated air-flow channels which create underfoot air flow with every step.
Midsole: A lightweight, compression molded Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) midsole provides the wearer with a thick layer of comfort between the durable Michelin rubber outsole and the full grain leather upper.
Outsole: Inspired by the Pilot Exalto tire tread, this multi-density outsole is naturally resistant to oil, chemicals, heat and abrasion providing the maximum amount of durability and slip resistance. Tread designs are engineered to utilize the same traction properties as used in high performance Michelin tires.
