Coverage: 1/4 Acre - Biennial Blend- Planting Time: Fall

This fast germinating, inexpensive mix of bi-annuals is designed for that late season (August- September) planting. It establishes itself before winter sets in and deer love it. It grows best in areas that receive full sun. It is frost tolerant and is a good, high-energy food for deer prior to winter. This blend contains Winter Rye, Hairy Vetch, Winter Peas and Dwarf Rapeseed and is available in 8.5 lb., 25 lb. or 50 lb. quantities. If seeded properly, its seeding rate is 50 lbs. per acre (seems like a lot, but is due to the larger seed size).
