Equinox 6 Tent Recommendation |

The Equinox 6 is easy to set up and tear down. Although not very heavy to move around, it does weigh too much for for backpacking.
The tent handles winds fairly well, although its height does tend to cause it to act like a sail somewhat (but the ability to stand up in the tent is one of its selling points.)
The floor space can fit two cots easy... probably 3 with no problem... or 4 adults on the ground... or 2 adults and 3 kids.
Note that the tent does not come with a ground cloth. I cut a 12'x12' piece of plastic to fit (once the tent was set up) and that did a great job protecting the underside to the floor.
My latest tent only came with 4 plastic stakes, so I ordered ten 10" steel stakes separately for about $12.00.
Glen's Army Navy had the best price in this tent that I could find, and they shipped it fast and without any problems. I highly recommend Glen's!
