Danner Desert Acadia Temperate Military Boot |

The Danner Desert Acadia seems to be a very well made boot. It does run a little narrower than the average boot, which to me is a plus. Other boots that fit perfectly when they are new have a tendency to streatch, which causes them to eventually rub. To break in my new Acadias, I took a five mile hike in the woods today and they performed great. My feet didn't get tired, or sore. I didn't develope any blisters either. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

These boots are the second pair of Danners I've owned. The first pair lasted 10 years! The boots are very comfortable right out of the box, took them on a 5 mile hike right away with no break in. Not even a hot spot on my feet! They tend to run a little bit narrow in my opinion but my feet are right on the edge of wide ( depends on manufacturer). Without a doubt the best boots on the market.
