I am still breaking my new boots in, but they are very supportive. I have already worked in quite a bit of rain, and my feet stayed dry and comfortable. The boots were still breathable also.

These boots are an excellent cross over for my hiking trips and daily work wear. I used them a few years ago and found them to be excellent at offering high support with medium comfort.
The removable insole makes plenty of room for my orthotic braces. The strong counter and shank provide excellent support and the sole rolls well with my stride. The Gore Tex makes for nice water proofing without excessive moisture build up.

Yes, I purchased a Danner Striker II 45 GTX Uniform Boot. I have search on-line from many vendors and did not find my size in stock and the price over $150.00 plus shipping. But, Glen's Army Navy Store (On-Line) did have my size in stock and also at a very competitive price with free shipping. Glen's web site was very user's friendly and easy to navigate. I receive my boot from Danner directly in three days. Glen's Army Navy Store and On-line is a outstanding superior company with outstanding superior customer service. Highly recommended.
