I am very pleased with my purchase of the Danner Light II. I am breaking them in now so I can't really speak to how they will ultimately feel. So far I am quite impressed. I have a decent pair of hiking boots, but once off a groomed trial they failed to keep me balanced due to a small footprint sole. The Danner's were amazing in providing a broader platform sole and have worked really well on non-groomed trails, quite common to western CT where the glaciers left a lot of nasty stuff when they receeded.

Best pair of boots i've ever owned. I didn't have to break them in and the fit was perfect. I have a narrow foot and Danner seems to be the only quality boot maker with a B width. I almost bought another pair when these came in just to make sure they didn't quit making them!

Good boots, don't fit

I had a pleasant experience ordering boots from Glen's Outdoors, but unfortunately the Danner Light II boots have a very narrow toe box, and I need a wide toe box. I had no trouble getting a RMA # to return the boots.
