The Converse Womens Performance Cross Trainer has a composite toe and Tailex lining. It has a removable EVA cushion insert with sponge rubber heel wedge. The outsole is a dual density EVA cushion midsole and rubber bottom.

A composite toe cap is made from a non-ferrous elastomeric material. This material is also light weight and will not conduct heat or electricity. Composite toes meet or exceed ASTM F2413-05 Standard for protective footwear.
Safety footwear used in areas where the generation of static electricity could harm sensitive electrical equipment or ignite flammable materials. The footwear allows small charges of static electricity to be dissipated into the walking surface, thus reducing the accumulation of static electricity.
