The Chippewa 8 Inch Waterproof Insulated Steel Toe EH Lace Up is made of tan waterproof leather and 400 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation with a Goodyear leather welt construction. The steel toe is rated ASTM F2413-05 and is ASTM electrical hazard rated. This boot also has a removable cushion orthotic and a Vibram Brown Chippewa #T610P Duralogical outsole.

	Just like regular Thinsulate, it is lightweight, breathable and moisture-resistant. But Thinsulate Ultra insulation goes one step further. It is loftier and thicker than original Thinsulate insulation-for even greater warmth and comfort, yet still thin enough to allow complete freedom of movement.
	The Chip-A-Tex waterproof membrane system is breathable. Water is locked out of the boot by the membrane shield but air passes through from the foot for maximum comfort.
