I would give the jacket 4 stars only bc it is really stiff. He didnt like that at first so hes hoping it will break in. Plus everyother review about running a size too big is absolutely true!! Other than that its very warm and sharp looking.

I bought this for my fiance. I have one just like it and have had it for over 3 years. It is great for what we do and the places we go. We work in some pretty cold areas. This coat keeps you warm against the extreme cold.

Shopping at Glen's Army Navy Outdoors store was an outstanding experience. Ordering was very easy and I was VERY happy about the price. Shipping was quick and the price was right! I have purchased 5.11 coats from other vendors for years, and was very satisfied with its quality and tactical features. I work for the U.S. Navy repairing submarines on the waterfront and shipyard, and when I wore my 5.11 coat around the topside a submarine in dry-dock with scaffolding and rigging, I inevitably tore the darn thing. Everywhere I looked, people were wearing Carhartt work wear. There I was with a nice looking coat, 2-3X the price of the Carhartts others had on, and I had the coat with holes big and small in it. The Carhartt Extremes Arctic Quilt Lined Coat is everything I have come to expect from Carhartt. It fits perfectly and quality is second to none. Very tough, plenty of pocket space, and very comfortable. I do not think I will need another winter coat for another ten years.
